Tyrell (he/him) is a registered psychologist who has experience working with all ages, but particularly enjoys supporting children, adolescents, and young adults. Tyrell is passionate about supporting neurodivergent and LGBTIQAPSB+ clients to feel safe, accepted, and live more authentically.
Tyrell’s style is warm and collaborative, and he aims to help each client feel safe and relaxed. Tyrell welcomes stimming, movement, and comfort items in sessions, or whatever helps you to feel comfortable.
Tyrell incorporates an integrated approach including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT). Tyrell’s approach is also trauma-informed and neuroaffirming.
Outside of the therapy room, Tyrell enjoys the outdoors, reading, baking, and sketching/painting.
