I am a Counselling Psychologist, Psychosexual Therapist, Board Approved Supervisor and the CEO & Principal Psychologist of Haven Psychology, a trauma‑informed and culturally responsive psychology practice based in Meanjin/Brisbane. As an economic migrant settler, I hold privileges including citizenship, education, resources, and secure housing. My clinical understanding, together with lived experiences as a multiply neurodivergent, multi‑racial person of colour with history of poverty, homelessness, complex PTSD, and systemic oppression reflect my work as a grounding influence that shapes how power, safety, and care is understood and practiced. 

My supervision approach is grounded in identity‑affirming, trauma‑informed, anti‑oppressive, and sex‑positive frameworks in modern psychology, with a firm commitment to decolonising mental health practice. I support clinicians critically reflect on the ongoing impacts of colonisation, systemic inequity, and structural violence on people and ensuring care does not reproduce harm. I emphasise critical reflection, ethical integrity, and sustainable practice, and am known for translating complex clinical and ethical concepts into practical, accessible tools, using humour to make uncomfortable subjects accessible and real. 

My clinical interests include navigating complex trauma, dissociation, neurodivergence (including autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, and acquired brain injuries), gender, sexual, and relationship diversity, chronic health conditions, and intersecting identities.

I am a general Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor at Haven Psychology who supports clinicians develop confidence, self-reflection and clinical skills to care for clients from marginalised communities, particularly neurodivergent and LGBTIQAPSB+ folks. I recognise my own privilege including being a cisgender male, a white settler, holding citizenship, education, resources, and secure housing and draw from my own lived experiences as a neurodivergent LGBTIQAPSB+ clinician to shape my supervision approach, grounded in identity affirming, trauma informed, intersectional and collaborative frameworks.

I am passionate supporting clinicians develop a deeper understanding of identity affirming care, how to work with neurodivergence and LGBTIQAPSB+ communities, and understanding the complexity, intersectionalities and diverse lived experiences these populations have. I enjoy helping clinicians build skills and confidence to supporting adolescences, families, and guardians navigate diverse dynamics and strengthen intervention skills.

I also have a key interest in supporting clinicians better understand themselves and how their neurotypes, experiences and bias influence their work and wellbeing. By exploring clinician wellbeing, burnout, strengths, capacity, privilege, bias and power that we hold, my goal is to create a collaborative and reflective space that supports professional growth, ethical practice and sustainable ways of working
