Psychologists
If you are a psychologist with eligibility for general registration with AHPRA and eligibility for a Medicare Provider number, Haven Psychology is a great place to build your career! You will work with trauma-informed approaches and provide trauma-focused treatments to a broad and diverse clientele. Training and experience in EMDR, Schema, IFS, or other experiential approaches is highly regarded, and our professional development program will allow you to maintain and hone your clinical skills, including pursuing your area of endorsement.

Our Unique Practice
Haven Psychology is an exciting young business and we have established ourselves as a sector leader in inclusive and affirming care, providing sex-positive therapy, and building trust with vulnerable communities. As a practice, we support mental health advocacy in an affirming and inclusive manner. Our CEO and Principal Psychologist was a finalist for the Allied Health Awards, Psychologist of the Year 2021-22 and is the Chair of APS College of Counselling Psychologists (QLD). Denise has more recently been nominated as Health Professional of the Year, and Haven was nominated as Service Provider of the Year with the awards ceremony through Many Genders One Voice in March 2023.

We have roles open at our existing practice in the heart of Milton on the Brisbane River, with excellent access via car, bus, rail, or ferry, plus end-of-trip facilities for cyclists.

Haven Psychology is excited to open a new practice location in one of the world’s most liveable cities – Melbourne! We have setup in South Yarra, close to train and tram stops, and doors open in April 2023.
