Tamara believes all people deserve to live life authentically regardless of their gender identity, sexual orientation, or relationship style.
Tamara works within family systems framework, narrative therapy, attachment theory and styles and how they can impact multiple relationships, as well as working from a trauma informed framework as well. The varied life experiences Tamara has seen has helped fire her passion to support people along their path to safely seek the help and support they need. To help people navigate the system without fear of discrimination or oppression, regardless of who they are and how they identify.
Tamara is constantly working on and examining their privileges as person and how these effect their work as a therapist and the influence it can have unconsciously on their clients. The need to support all people regardless of age, gender, relationship style, and lived experiences to recover from the impacts of trauma throughout their lives, understanding who they are, where they belong, who and how they love is an important part of mental health support that is not always understood or supported.
