Kylie (she/they) is a provisionally registered psychologist who believes everyone has unique strengths and differences that should be encouraged and celebrated. Kylie provides a non-judgemental and inclusive space for people to share whatever they feel safe disclosing, and this space is welcoming to individuals of all sexual orientations, cultural backgrounds, religions, genders, and abilities.

Kylie takes a neurodiverse-affirming and sex-positive approach to practice, as it is important to empower people to live their best lives and be themselves. Kylie has experience working with clients experiencing anxiety and depression, especially with young people as they navigate the challenges of school and adolescence, and with NDIS participants seeking support with autism, ADHD, or intellectual impairment.

Kylie uses therapeutic interventions including Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Play Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

Prior to studying psychology, Kylie worked with children and teenagers in education settings, and this history has shaped their interest in working with young people to overcome the trauma and challenges they may face before reaching adulthood.

During her down time, Kylie enjoys playing video games and spending time with her dog at the local park. She also loves going to pop culture conventions — sometimes even in cosplay! Kylie will happily bring any of these elements into the therapy room if you express interest, as she believes they’re a great way to build a bridge between therapy skills and the world around us.
